Updated October 17, 2026. BibleMeanings is a reading reference at biblemeanings.net. You can read its explanations without creating an account or submitting a personal reading history.

Reading and filtering

The reference filters operate in your browser. They do not require a name, email address or religious affiliation. The site does not provide an email signup or collect a personal study profile. Browser storage may retain a consent choice where consent controls are shown.

Campaign labels for this tab

When a landing URL includes utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign or utm_content, the offer-click script keeps those campaign labels in this tab's sessionStorage under click-utm. Each value is limited to 100 characters. The labels help attribute a later sponsored-link click to the campaign that brought the visit. They can remain as you move between pages or reload within the same tab session, and are cleared when that tab's session ends. Browser session restoration may restore them.

This campaign storage is separate from consent-choice storage. It can occur even when a page has no sponsored links. The script sends an offer-click beacon to this site's /api/click route only when a link marked sponsored is clicked; no offer-click beacon fires without a sponsored link. An ordinary reading visit or internal browse action does not trigger that beacon.

Messages

If you email hello@biblemeanings.net, the message and reply address are used to handle your request. Include only what is needed to identify the page and question. Do not send confidential pastoral, medical or family records with a source correction.

Delivery and external links

Hosting and security providers can process ordinary request information, such as an IP address and requested URL, to deliver and protect the site. Product cards may load images from Amazon's image servers; loading an external image sends ordinary request information to that server. Following an Amazon buying link also sends you to Amazon with an affiliate tracking tag. External source links lead to services with their own privacy practices. The reference does not control the information those services receive when you visit them.

Your choices

You can use your browser's controls to manage local storage. You can also contact the publication about a message you have sent or a privacy concern. Ask through hello@biblemeanings.net, with enough context to identify the request.
