John 14:1–4 · WEB Classic

1 “Don’t let your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me.

2 In my Father’s house are many homes. If it weren’t so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you.

3 If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.

4 You know where I go, and you know the way.”

Keep wording, evidence and application separate

Begin with a complete paragraph or chapter. Note its speaker, audience and sequence before drawing a conclusion. A dictionary gloss, a commentator's reading and your own application are different kinds of evidence. Record the source and the specific point it supports.

For a SOAP study, use Passage for Scripture, Evidence for Observation, and Response for Application and Prayer. Context remains available alongside those steps. The worksheet covers every chapter in the 66-book Protestant canon, with the KJV, ASV and WEB Classic editions distributed by eBible.org.

Your writing stays in this browser. Download studies you want to retain when changing devices or clearing browser data. Create a reading plan or check the chapter dataset and counting methods.
